CALL FOR COUNCIL NOMINATIONS 2006

The CAANCB/ACANBC Council is requesting nominations from the general membership of the Association for the following elected positions. The term of office for each position will begin following the Annual Business Meeting of the Association, to be held in Saskatoon in June, 2006.

  • Treasurer: - A three year term.

  • Councillor: - One Councillor is required to fill a member-at-large position (term of three years.)

  • Awards Committee: - Two individuals are required to serve on the Awards Committee. The Committee is responsible for selecting the annual award winners of the Association. Each individual will serve a two year term.

  • Science Policy Committee: - Two new members are required to replace and fill a vacant position on the Science Policy Committee. This Committee establishes priorities for science policy as it pertains to the Association and the larger scientific community through the Science Policy Committee of CFBS, The term of office is for two years.

  • Program Committee: - A three year term.

  • Bulletin Editor: - The CAANCB Annual Newsletter urgently needs an editor.

Nominees need to be members in good standing of the Association, and must have indicated that they are willing to serve in that capacity if elected.
